What is a Learnership?
A learnership is a registered programme that combines theoretical learning with practical workplace experience. Participants earn an accredited NQF qualification recognised by employers across South Africa — while gaining real-world skills they can use immediately.
For corporate partners, learnerships also qualify for B-BBEE scorecard points, making them a powerful tool for businesses that want their investment to count twice: for the learner and for their own transformation goals.
Programme Overview
What it includes:
- Accredited theoretical learning
- Practical workplace experience with partner organisations
- Cycling and sport participation as a personal development tool
- Mentorship, coaching, and peer support throughout
Outcomes: Learners graduate with an accredited NQF qualification, practical work experience, and the resilience and interpersonal skills built through structured sporting participation.
How to Apply
Applications are open to South African women aged 18–35.
Requirement: to have completed Matric

Sport is a great way to empower women. Education is even more valuable. While our focus is to give women interested in sport, more educational opportunities, it is not limited to. We are happy to assist those looking to empower themselves and this is how we can help.
Donations will not only assist in providing the opportunities for learnerships and bursaries but also count towards your social or skills development BBE scorecard.
We offer accredited learnerships aligned to the critical and scares skills of SETA . We host the unemployed learners at our skills development facility.
We offer Higher Education and Training Bursaries to beneficiaries within our group to help them to grow as individuals
We strive to employ the learners at the end of the learnership so that you can reap the benefit of truly transitioning the unemployed to the employed.
